our 3-day Errachidia to Fes desert tour begins with pickup from your hotel, riad or Errachidia Airport.

Leave Errachidia and descend through the spectacular Ziz Valley, one of the most scenic routes in southeastern Morocco. Stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the extensive palm grove and the dramatic valley below.

Continue toward Erfoud, a town known for its fossil products, dates and its location at the entrance to the Sahara region.

From Erfoud, continue toward Merzouga, the gateway to the famous Erg Chebbi dunes.

In the late afternoon, leave the vehicle behind and begin your camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Ride across the golden dunes while enjoying the changing colors of the desert as the sun begins to set.

Arrive at your desert camp and settle into your accommodation. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and an evening of Berber music around the campfire beneath the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga – Desert & Nomadic Villages – Erfoud – Midelt

Wake early to experience the Sahara sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes.

After breakfast, return from the desert camp and continue your journey toward Midelt.

Depending on the agreed itinerary and available time, you can explore more of the Merzouga area and visit local desert communities. You may also have the opportunity to meet nomadic families and learn about their traditional way of life in the Sahara.

Continue toward Erfoud, with scenic stops along the route. From Erfoud, travel north through changing landscapes as the desert gradually gives way to mountains and plateaus.

Continue toward Midelt, located between the High Atlas and Middle Atlas Mountains. The region is known for its agricultural production, particularly apples, as well as its beautiful mountain scenery.

Arrive in Midelt and check into your hotel or riad.
